Academic Contributions:
Standard Presentation (30 mins)
The speaker will give a 15-minute talk on their chosen topic followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.
Paper presentations at the conference should normally be planned for 15 minutes. This would be followed by questions and comments for another 15 minutes. However, depending upon the number of papers in a session, moderators might recommend variations to this standard presentation format.
Doctoral Workshop (30 mins)
Doctoral Workshops are hosted on Thursday, 31st October. Doctoral candidates will present the research leading up to their dissertations. Doctoral workshops are designed to provide a space for feedback and discussion, therefore the presentation should be shorter with more time for discussions. A limited number of bursaries will be made available to support contributors presenting their research as part of a doctoral workshop
Poster
Posters will be exhibited throughout the conference in the foyer. During a dedicated poster session delegates are given the opportunity to discuss content with the authors.
Panel
We are delighted to host a number of panels as part of the conference. Researchers working in related areas are warmly invited to submit their abstracts/papers to be considered for inclusion in the relevant panel
➤ Different streams and research paradigms in Cross-Cultural Management
➤ Cultural Perspectives on Creativity, Innovation and Risk Taking
➤ Cultural Competence and HR practices in MNCs
➤ More culturally intelligent after a semester abroad? Intercultural Encounters in Higher Education
➤ Consciousness, Communication and Co-Creation in Multicultural Environments
➤ Disruptive Education for Cultural Competence
If you would like your abstract to be considered for a panel please select this option during your submission on our system (under ‘academic contributions’). Please note that we cannot guarantee inclusion even of high quality abstracts on panels, as panel spaces are very limited. You might therefore be asked to present your paper as a general contribution instead.
